    Suigei Tokubetsu Junmai 15% 1800ml

    This sake was created by Suigei as a dinner companion every night. In order to bring out the quality of the base rice, we polished it to a ratio of 55%, and insisted on keeping the aroma of the brew subdued. The result is a pure rice sake that carries Suigei’s distinct acidity and has breadth as well as sharpness.

    This is one of the flagship items from well-known brewery “KATO KICHIBEE” of Fukui perfecture of Japan. It was awareded gold medal in the IWC. Made with the highest quality of YAMADANISHIKI in Special Region “A” in HYOGO pref. 2Yrs of aging under 0 (zero) degree C that produces a fruity sake with an aroma reminiscent of grapefruit. It’s sophisticated yet mellow flavor flows irresistably over the tongue. It’s fully ripened aroma is ever present regardless of whether it’s warmed or chilled. Althought it is not common to recommend such a premium sake to enjoy warm, but please try and you’ll be convinced. Best serving is “Chilled”.  But you can enjoy “On-the-rock” or “warmed” Sake.

    Imayotsukasa Koi Nishikigio 17% 720ml

    In “Koi NISHIKIGOI”, the grade and rice is kept a secret, this is to allow one’s sense of smell and taste to be surprised, appreciating its flavour and aroma without sight and knowledge of it. A traditional and well-layered sake, this Junmai Daiginjo hails from the Niigata prefecture, birthplace of this sake’s namesake, the Koi. Nishikigoi Sake is the product of Imayo Tsukasa Sake Brewery and is a traditional sake that boasts spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, buffered by earthy hints of Parisian mushroom and garlic, giving it a soft, buttery feel while still providing a kick at the end.

    The beauty within is equally matched by the beauty without as the bottle that houses Nishikigoi Sake is artfully crafted by Yamaharu Glass Co. The distinctive red-on-white pattern that mimics the Kohaku variety of Koi has been the recipient of numerous design awards, making each unique bottle a collector’s item.

    Katsuyama Junmai Daiginjyo Muroka Genshu Den 16% 720ml (Gb)

    Brewed with a traditional sake brewing method,  Den features a fruity aroma and distinct rich flavors.This sake has the true characteristics of a Junmai Daiginjo. Its crisp and clean umami stands out clearly and lingers as a distinctly mouthwatering aftertaste. It is an excellent choice to pair with tuna and salmon sushi/sashimi. It also goes well with meat and meat dishes prepared in both Japanese and western style.

    Den means “tradition,” referring to the traditional way this sake is brewed. The name Den also can mean “to convey” thoughts and feelings.

    Born Junmai Daiginjo Echizen Kantsubaki 16% 720ml GB

    Winter is not often imagined as the season when flowers bloom. A cold camellia that blooms in such a winter. “Born Kantsubaki” is also a Junmai Daiginjo sake that conveys the strength and nobility of the core in the fragility, like the Kantsubaki that blooms dignifiedly in the snowy Echizen garden. The sake rice used is Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo’s special A district. The sake brewed as Junmai Daiginjo was aged for two years in an ice temperature room kept at 0 degrees after bottling. Please experience the transparent texture and the moist taste that comes from aging for 2 years.
